Skyway Community Arts focuses on bringing people together through creativity, participation and shared cultural experiences. We develop and support projects that support wellbeing, mental health and social inclusion through the arts. We work with local artists, community groups and partner organisations to make creative opportunities open to everyone. We also support and encourage other initiatives that use art to connect people, strengthen communities and improve quality of life. Skyway Community Arts reflects our belief that the arts should be welcoming, accessible and beneficial to all.

Unfurling the Creative
Unfurling the Creative is a six-week course by artist Louise Durham. Designed to help you pause, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters to you.
This course is for you if you:• Feel creative but a little stuck or uninspired.
• Long for more space, calm, or meaning in your week.
• Believe you’re “not creative” but are curious to explore.
Based on my experience as an Occupational Therapist and my many years as a glass artist, this course is built on a deep unshakable belief in the restorative and healing power of creative practice.
Each Thursday evening at West Street Studios in Shoreham, we’ll explore simple, accessible creative exercises designed to spark playfulness, curiosity, and joy.
When: Thursday evenings / April 16th – May 21st
Time : 6.30 – 9pm
Where: West Street Studios, Shoreham. BN43 5WG
